    2nd Largest Award in the History of the SEC Whistleblower Program

    As reported in Bloomberg Law, the SEC awarded approximately $110 million to a whistleblower for providing highly skilled independent analysis shedding light on a company’s misconduct.

  • $36 Million

    As reported in Bloomberg Law, the SEC awarded a whistleblower approximately $36 million for providing key documents evidencing illegal conduct.


  • $6 Million

    In January 2025, the SEC awarded over $6 million to two anonymous whistleblowers for exposing securities fraud that harmed retail investors. After their employer failed to address misconduct they reported internally, the whistleblowers provided the SEC with key evidence that led to a successful enforcement action.

    As reported in The Wall Street Journal, two former financial advisers exposed a brokerage firm's misleading statements regarding a struggling structured investment product. Ruling in the whistleblowers’ favor, the SEC awarded the tipsters $3 million or 30% of the monetary penalties imposed on the financial institution—the maximum award allowed under the program.
